What a hell of a kick, man!
Gaaah, had been stuck for 4 days at home due to the unfriendly weather; unusual rain and wind freaking everybody out. Actually, being home doesn’t mean you can’t have any fun. There are stacks of dvds and some books yet I still haven’t found the perfect mood to have ‘em all finished. Bed and food have been the most tempting ones on spoiling my lazy ass at home these last four days. Screw that modem too which could only open mobile application. I could barely do anything with it. Although, I dealt with the unbalanced Balance Sheet of DocDays 2011. Checked each of the journal entries, per transaction, per day. And I finally got that little fucker keeping my Balance Sheet not balanced! There was a double-counting on ledger-posting, bah. Um…..my room’s still a total mess, haven’t got a chance to tidy it up, yet. Spent another night at the Pranotos’ again today :-D
It was my Wa Anang’s 49th birthdaaay!!! We’d kinda planned to celebrate some place nice, but hadn’t decided where to yet. So, my mother and I patiently waited for the annoucement text from him. Apparently there was none. We thuought he’d forgotten or something. My mom called him and he said he’d waited but noone had come to my grandma’s. So, we went out to pick up some cake and to do some grocery shopping, as well. Got to my grandma’s afterwards and we had everybody gather and sing “Happy Birthday” together in the dining room with the candle-blowing and everything. We eventually decided to have some sort of birthday dinner at this Sundanese Restaurant. Took off after Maghrib and had our side of family invited. Got really full back then. It was a really nice evening. Forever wish you a long, happy, and glorious life ahead, Wa, thanks a lot! :-)
Was woken up really early for we’d already planned on going to “Pasar Subuh’ where they sell those delicious “Jajanan Pasar”. Wa Joen drove us there. Bought various kinds with relatively cheap prices. Went back to my grandma’s at about 9 in the morning and went straight to bed bacause I only had about 2 hours of sleep that night. Woke up at 5! I’m such a sleepyhead! Got my uncle from Karawang and Bogor coming visit in the evening.
